Psyllium Husk Powder
Psyllium husks provide a good source of fibre. Used as part of a bowel/colon maintenance programme, psyllium husks help to maintain healthy and efficient intestines.
Recommended Adult Intake
Add one heaped teaspoon of Psyllium powder (5g) to half a small glass (100ml) of luke warm water, stir vigorously until mixed and drink immediately. Repeat two or three times per day, or as directed by a practitioner.
Psyllium husks come from the outside coat of the seeds of the plant Plantago Ovato. The husk provides a good source of fibre, and is good used as part of a cleanse programme. The powder needs to be mixed with water and stirred; please ensure that you take it quickly with sufficient water, as it thickens rapidly and turns into a gel. This then expands during the muscular movement of the digestive tract. An average serving of 2 tsps/day gives you about 25 days supply. Please ensure that you are drinking good amounts of water (4 pints/day) when taking this product.
We recommend that you use Aloe Vera juice with the psyllium husks as part of your colon care programme.
